Dave Simmons is a Delaware Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, drummer, writer, producer and former Atlantic Recording Artist with the award-winning band Mike Hines & The Look who is known for his infectious grooves and showmanship behind the drum kit.  He is also a founding member of the regionally popular band Engine #9, which later became the ground breaking Drum/DJ duo that still performs to this day.  Recently, Dave has been also performing with “Ultimate Diamond”, a Neil Diamond tribute act that has been selling out theatres in the Atlantic region.

Dave has shared the stage with many performers including: Al B. Sure!, Taylor Dayne, Atlantic Starr, Doug E Fresh, Slick Rick, Jazzy Jeff, Sugar Hill Gang, Dion Warwick, Jimmie Allen, Everlast, Sister Sledge, Naughty By Nature, Lisa Lisa, The Ohio Players, War, Jimmie’s Chicken Shack, Scooter Brown, Blanco Brown, Flo Rida, Bernard Purdie, Mike Hines, Sol Knopf, KNAPPY, Gilbert Gottfried and Chris Rock.  He has also performed for Xfinity and the Philadelphia Phillies, Sixers and Flyers at many events including the World Series, NBA Playoffs and NHL Playoffs, the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament and Barstool Sports Invitational College Basketball Tournament.  He has also performed at the Philadelphia Easter Parade, Big Dill Festival, NASCAR Cup Series at Dover Motor Speedway and many other stadium event afterparties. 

Dave has also recorded for producers Joe Alexander (Teddy Pendergrass, Dream Theatre, Mike Hines & The Look) and Joe Nicolo (Billy Joel, Bob Dylan, Tony Luke, Jr.)
